Abbotts Travel wanted a corporate video to showcase the travel agency to prospective clients on its YouTube channel, as well as forming part of its entry to the 2018 TTG Top 50 Awards. The video is also played at client events and showcases.
I was tasked with project managing the production of the video from start to finish.
The agency has a great story, history and personality that I felt needed to be captured.
I recruited a local videographer, making sure that he understood what we were trying to achieve and what kind of budget we had.
I decided who we wanted to be involved - staff, clients and suppliers - and then approached them and briefed them.
I created a storyboard, prepared scripts, arranged a filming schedule and conducted interviews to camera to obtain the content I wanted.
I compiled a bank of images to complement the filming (cut-outs), reviewed all content and worked with the videographer on the final edit.
